The cask type is Oloroso Sherry.

Tasting notes: With the lightest touch of Oloroso Sherry finish, vanilla with notes of coconut and ripe Honeydew Mellon with a trace of cinnamon and star anise. Non-Chill Filter and Natural Colour

The Royal Brackla is known as the 'The King's Own Whisky'.  It was first granted Royal Warrant by King William IV in 1833.
