Distilled at Aberfeldy, the celebrated Highland distillery founded in 1898, this expression was initially matured in a refill hogshead before being transferred to rare Madeira casks. The Madeira finish imparts layers of fruit, sweetness and complexity while complementing, rather than masking, Aberfeldy's signature honeyed house style. The result is a rich, elegant whisky that brings together over a quarter of a century of maturation with the distinctive influence of one of the world's most unique fortified wines.
