Yes, they're expensive, but so is whisky, and quality chocolates. But if you like these things find an occasion and splash out. I wasn't planning to have any, because there are only eight pieces in the (very nice) box, and I wanted the recipient to enjoy all of them. But he insisted I have one with him each time he had one. After I tried the first one, I didn't protest. We managed to make them last several days only because they're rich, and bigger than they look, so we only needed one each night after dinner. If you're enjoying them on your own, there's no reason you can't make them stretch a week or two. Sometime when you're feeling indulgent, give them a try. (The whisky flavour is not overly strong, but it's present.)
