We don’t usually sell our self-fill bottles online, but we’re excited to offer this exclusive opportunity to buy our Dewar's self-fill directly online. This is a unique Dewar’s blend, crafted with whiskies distilled in 2014 and expertly blended by our team, led by multiple-award-winning Master Blender Stephanie Macleod. The whisky is then finished in casks that previously held Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, adding a subtle richness and depth to the flavour.

Each bottle is individually numbered and filled by a member of our distillery team directly from our cask, making every bottle a truly personal and unique collector’s item. This rare release makes an exceptional gift for whisky enthusiasts and a standout addition to any collection. This is a very limited whisky, available only from us at the distillery.

More About Dewar's Self Fill Whisky Cask

Product Details

Crafted from a selection of whiskies distilled in 2014, it has been skillfully blended by our team under the guidance of multiple-award-winning Master Blender Stephanie Macleod, then finished in casks that once held Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, adding a rich and complex character. This is a region which began producing wines back in the 1840s, the same decade John Dewar first opened his shop, making it a fitting way of elevating the smooth and fruity house style of Dewar’s in this limited release whisky.

The outcome is a full-bodied whisky with intensity of flavour that still maintains the smooth nature which Dewar’s is loved for all over the world.

Tasting Notes

On the nose, red summer fruits, toffee and cinnamon combine in a lively bouquet. The palate is oaky and fruity, with a slight syrupy texture contrasted with the tannic influence of the red wine casks. The dryer edge balances the creamy and fruity flavours within this whisky, and a drop of water softens it further, allowing more vanilla and oak spice to shine through.
