Great whisky!

Have tried 12 and 16 before, but that’s different level! Deep and reach taste, worth to check it out!

Aberfeldy 9 year old with a abv of 59.7 is definitely the a Golden Dram.

Aberfeldy is up there with the best this bottling has great depth and flavours, it's unusual for Aberfeldy to Bottle at 59.7 abv, have bought myself a small supply as it's a very small batch of only 1152 bottles it won't be there for long!!

Best I've tasted

I've tried 12 year, 15 year, 16 year and 21 year and enjoyed them all but this bottle tops them all I'm gonna have to get another bottle of 9 to keep. The tastes that you get coming through as you drink are amazing best malt I've ever had the pleasure in drinking. Love it!!!

Cask Strength Aberfeldy!

I've been wanting try an official cask strength Aberfeldy for a long while, and until this bottle I had some independent bottles at 55.5%. I've enjoyed a few Scottish oak finished whiskies lately so was interested to see how this compared.

Golden sponge, caramelised sugar on the nose. Comforting. Very sweet, icing sugar hit immediately on the tongue, a split second of citrus, green fruits, then a spicy finish of pepper and cinnamon. That spice lingers for a wee while. It's quite easy drinking despite the abv, and although not especially comforting is a warming drop of Aberfeldy magic.

Looking forward to a pour alongside my Glenallachie 8 Scottish Oak and Fettercairn 18 Scottish Oak soon!

Looks amazing and that's about all I can say as I bought it for my collection.
