Royal Brackla 35 year old whisky

Royal Brackla 35 Year Old is an incredibly rare single malt whisky, hand-selected to mark the distillery’s 200th anniversary in 2012.

Nestled in a crown, complete with sceptre and orb, Royal Brackla 35 Year Old is presented in a luxurious box and every one of the 100 bottles are individually numbered and etched with commemorative dates. We believe this to be the last bottle that is not yet in private hands.

And to the liquid: Royal Brackla 35 Year Old has been finished in sherry casks and bottled at cask strength. On the nose, you can expect notes of apple, toffee, and vanilla, and flavours of dark chocolate, biscuit and spice.

Royal Brackla Distillery, founded in 1812 by the fiery Captain William Fraser, stands proudly on the Cawdor Estate (a historic residence linked with Shakespeare’s Macbeth). Quite literally fit for a king, Royal Brackla was the first Scotch whisky ever granted a Royal Warrant by King William IV in 1833 – the king’s own whisky, still reigning true today. As one of the oldest distilleries in the world, it enjoys a resplendent setting, close by the banks of the River Nairn. It has stood in its serene rural spot, on the coastal plain that lies between the seawater of the Moray Firth and the rising slopes of the Grampian Mountains, for more than two centuries.

Every expression of Royal Brackla is finished in the finest sherry casks, ensuring a warming, opulent outcome for this regal drink.
